Ritual at the Sea

Every year, we pay homage to Iemanjá, the Orixá related to the Sea, a great Mother for all the followers of the Afro-Brazilian tradition. This year we will gather on Saturday August 28, at the Delaware Seashore State Park near Rehoboth, our usual place.

Participants traditionally dress in white pants and shirt for the ritual and bring a change of clothes. You may also want to bring food to share for an after-ritual picnic.
