PUBLIC GIRAS (Spiritual Rituals) are held Saturdays at 3PM and 6PM (During August, we will have only one gira at 6pm).
Templo Guaracy de Washington is a spiritual, non-profit organization that follows the Afro-Brazilian tradition of Umbanda. TGW is closely affiliated with the Templo Guaracy do Brasil.

Public Giras - Every SaturdayA Gira is a spiritual work open to the public and based on the Afro-Brazilian tradition of Umbanda. During the ceremony, entities of light are received by initiated mediums to offer a blessing and energetic cleansing. These entities carry a spiritual wisdom which is associated with specific qualities of consciousness and Orixas (energies found in nature).

CELEBRATION OF THE LINE OF THE ORIENTOn this day we will play homage to the Line of the ORIENT. We will have an exhibit and a presentation about the fundamentals of this line.We will close with a Gira of the ORIENT.

Ritual at the SeaEvery year, we pay homage to Iemanjá, the Orixá related to the Sea, a great Mother for all the followers of the Afro-Brazilian tradition. This year we will gather on Saturday August 28, at the Delaware Seashore State Park near Rehoboth, our usual place.
